Amy Rose is a 12 year old hedgehog who is known for how bold and fearless she is. She is a go-getter and doesn't allow anything to get in her way.

Despite her traditional "girly" interests and appearance, she has a classic "energetic tomboy" personality, causing her to be a little assertive at times. She hates boredom, and often seaks out thrill and excitement.

Amy is very open about her feelings and emotions, never letting anything get bottled up and alwways speaking her mind. Because of this, she is often seen as obsessive and aggresive, especially when it comes to her interest in Sonic the Hedgehog. When angry or upset, she has a habit of threatening others using her Piko Piko Hammer, this often happens when somebody crosses her or hurts someone she cares about. She expresses herself with ease, but also very openly such as crying when upset, or not being able to hold back her excitement and enthusiasm. As a result of this, Amy comes off as very pushy and overbearing. Having such an over-the-top personality has made her somewhat of a troublemaker. Her passionate personality has shown that she doesn't tolerate people hurting her friends, often retaliating in anger if she were to witness such acts. Her enthusiasm gets her in as much trouble as it gets others out of.
